Everything you generate with Krater belongs to you. Images, videos, audio, text, documents, code, and sites — all of it is yours.
Krater routes your requests to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and hundreds more). Under our Terms, your content is yours — but AI-generated content may also be subject to the usage terms of the underlying model provider. For high-stakes commercial use, it’s worth checking the provider’s policy for the model you used.
Also note: copyright protection for purely AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction. Owning the output under our Terms and holding a registered copyright on it are two different things.
Generations are private by default. You decide what goes public:
/build artifacts as snapshot links or live *.krater.site sites.Ownership doesn’t cover prohibited content. The Acceptable Use Policy bars generating content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, depicts minors inappropriately, is non-consensual intimate imagery, or is designed to deceive or harm. You also can’t use outputs to train competing AI models. Violations can lead to content removal and account suspension.
