How to Cancel Synthesia

- Sign in at synthesia.io and open Settings.
- Go to Plan & Billing.
- Turn off auto-renewal or choose Cancel plan.
What happens after you cancel
- Paid features run until the end of the billing period.
- Videos you already generated stay playable and downloadable - they are hosted assets, not metered.
- Unused video minutes do not carry over or refund.
Refund policy
Synthesia does not advertise partial refunds and treats a paid period as final once it starts; EU and UK customers keep the 14-day withdrawal right. For a mistaken renewal, contact support within days, not weeks.
The gotchas that trip people up
- The minute meter resets monthly. Unused minutes expire - cancelling early in the cycle does not lose you anything you would have kept.
- Workspace admins control billing. On a team workspace, only the admin sees the Plan & Billing page.
