How to delete your Synthesia account

1. Cancel the plan first: synthesia.io > Settings > Plan & Billing > turn off auto-renewal.
2. Open Settings > Account.
3. Use Delete account and confirm.
4. If you are on a company workspace, the workspace admin or Synthesia support handles the removal.

Account deletion can also be requested via Synthesia's privacy/support channel if you cannot reach the setting.

Before you delete

• Download every video you want to keep - hosted video links stop resolving after deletion.
• Personal avatars and voice clones are deleted with the account and cannot be recovered.
• Cancelling billing and deleting the account are separate steps; billing must be off first.

What happens after you delete

Deletion removes your account, projects, avatars and generated videos. MP4s you downloaded to your machine are untouched.

Deleting removes your account; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.
