Connect in 2 minutes
Open Claude and go to Settings > Connectors.
Click Add custom connector, name it Krater and paste the server URL.
Click Connect, sign in to Krater and click Allow.
Ask for anything, for example: make an image of a golden retriever in a sunny meadow.
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings > Apps.
Turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings, then click Create app.
Name it Krater, paste the server URL, choose OAuth and click Create.
Sign in to Krater, click Allow and start asking.
Open the MCP or connector settings in your app.
Add a remote MCP server and paste the server URL.
Sign in to Krater when asked. Apps without sign-in can use an API key from Settings > API keys instead.

What is the Krater MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI assistants connect to other tools. The Krater MCP lets Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP apps use Krater's tools, so you can create images, videos, music, voice and documents without leaving the chat you already use.
Which apps does it work with?
Claude and ChatGPT, plus any app that supports remote MCP servers. You add Krater once with the server URL https://api.krater.ai/v1/mcp and sign in with your Krater account.
Which plans include it?
The Krater MCP is included in the Ultra and Max plans. If you are on another plan, you can upgrade anytime on the pricing page.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Every request uses credits from your Krater plan at the same rates as inside Krater.
Is it safe?
You sign in with your own Krater account and approve each app yourself. The app never sees your password, and you can disconnect it anytime in Settings > API keys.
Can I use an API key instead of signing in?
Yes. Apps that don't support sign-in can use a Krater API key from Settings > API keys, sent as a Bearer token.
