Add Krater to Perplexity
Custom connectors in Perplexity require a Pro plan. On free Perplexity, the same tools work directly at krater.ai.
Open Perplexity and go to Settings > Connectors.
Add a custom remote connector, name it Krater and paste the server URL.
Sign in to Krater and allow access.
Ask for anything Krater can do.

Can Perplexity generate images?
Yes, on Pro and Max, but with a fixed set of models you do not choose. Krater adds the rest: video, music, voice, documents, and individual named models like Flux and Ideogram.
Can Perplexity make videos?
Not natively. Video generation comes from a connected tool like Krater, or a dedicated video studio.
Which Perplexity plans support connectors?
Custom remote connectors are a Pro feature. If you are on free Perplexity, the same tools are available directly at krater.ai.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra beyond your Krater plan. Krater MCP is included in Ultra and Max, and requests use the same plan credits as inside Krater.
Is it safe?
You sign in with your own Krater account and approve the access yourself. Disconnect anytime in Perplexity connector settings or in Krater under Settings > API keys.
